Cedar Rapids Research Registry

What is the purpose of the Registry?
The Cedar Rapids Research Registry identifies children and adults who may be eligible to participate in Cedar Rapids research studies conducted by faculty and staff in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa. Who is eligible to join the Registry?
Parents/guardians with children ages 0-17 who are residing in Linn County, Benton County, or the greater Cedar Rapids area may register their children. Adults ages 18 and over may register themselves.
What University of Iowa studies are located in Cedar Rapids?
Current UI Psychological and Brain Sciences studies that recruit from the Cedar Rapids Research Registry include the CARD Study and the Growing Words Project. More research studies may become available in Cedar Rapids in the future.
How to Register
When you click on the JOIN TODAY button, you will be directed to an online form with more information about the Registry. You will then have the opportunity to enter your contact information and other health information about yourself and/or your child. Entering your contact information does not commit you or your child to participate in a research study.
What happens after I register?
We will use the information provided to us in the registration form to contact you if you or your child may be eligible to join a Psychological and Brain Sciences study in Cedar Rapids. You are free to decline participation in any study, and you may request that your contact information be removed from the Registry at any time, for any reason.
