Melanie is the lab coordinator of Scan Lab, and she is assisted by her service dog, Berkley. She is passionate about advocacy for people with disabilities and educating the public about service dogs. Her favorite hobbies are to read Stephen King novels, go on long hikes with Berkley, hang out with her family, joining her deaf club for ASL trivia night and paint by numbers.
